Husband kidnaps wife’s lover after finding out she was cheating on him at work!

A SCORNED husband kidnapped his wife's secret lover after he caught her cheating on him, a court heard.
Craig Dewar, 34, has been accused of "carjacking" social worker John Hawkins and threatening to "cut his throat open."
In May 2018, Dewar and an unknown accomplice allegedly waited outside the offices for Mr Hawkins to leave work.

Prosecutor Andrew Kendall told how he was abducted in his Ford van and taken on a terrifying journey.
He said: “Mr Hawkins left work at around 5pm. He was driving along his usual route home when he was overtaken by a silver Hyundai Tucson.
“The Tucson positioned itself in front of Mr Hawkins’ van and slammed on its brakes to stop him driving away.”
Cardiff Crown Court heard Dewar reached through the open car window to remove the keys from the ignition.
Mr Hawkins was “scared” and had no idea the man, who got into the passenger seat, was his lover’s angry husband.
Mr Kendall said: “He handed Mr Hawkins the keys and told him: “Follow the car in front or I’ll cut your throat open.”
“A pair of pliers were pushed hard into his neck.
Understandably, Mr Hawkins was scared and did what was asked of him, following the silver Tucson.
“At one point Mr Hawkins tried to drive away but Dewar told him: “Follow that car or I’ll kill you.””
The terrified driver’s ordeal came to an end when Mr Hawkins stopped on a busy road and sounded the horn for help.
Jurors heard Zoe Dewar, 32, told police about her workplace affair: “It was crazy, crazy, crazy. I would go down to his place or he would book hotels.
“I was living like I was single and I could do what I wanted. It was exciting and we slept together numerous times.”
But after her husband discovered what was going on she allegedly threatened her older lover to drop kidnap and assault charges.
Mrs Dewar met Mr Hawkins while working together as community support workers for the social services department of Blaenau Gwent Council in South Wales.
But after reporting the incident to police the social worker was recovering at home when his married lover turned up.
Mr Kendall said: “She told him it was her husband who had got into his van and attacked him the day before.
“She said: “You’ve got to drop the charges or it will be 100 times worse for you. I will ruin your career.””
Craig Dewar is accused of abducting his love rival and causing him grievous bodily harm.
His wife is charged with perverting the course of justice.
The couple, of Six Bells, Abertillery, both deny the charges and the trial continues.
