Ramadan: Makinde Urges Muslims To Pray, Work For Unity & Peace

The Oyo State Governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde has urged Muslim faithful in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole to work and pray for the progress of the state and the country.

In a release signed by his spokesman, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Governor-elect stated that the unabated kidnapping, insecurity and rising unemployment in the country deserve our collective efforts to salvage the country from the  precipice of virtual peril.

He said hard work and prayers are the only way out of this untold dilemma in which we have found ourselves.

Makinde prayed to Allah that  this year's Ramadan activities will greatly reduce all vices that  are inimical to the progress and unity of this great country
