How Police Arrested Gun Wielding Man At Dapo Abiodun’s Inauguration

A 31-year-old man, Oluwaseun Fakoyejo, was on Wednesday arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command at the main bowl of the MKO Abiola Stadium, venue of the inauguration ceremony of Ogun State Governor Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun.
The Command’s spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi stated that “the arrest of the suspect followed an intelligence report at the disposal of the Command that some hoodlums were going to be at the stadium purposely to foment trouble which made the police to be more vigilant during the ceremony.

Not quite long after the departure of the Governor and some other dignitaries, the SARS operatives deployed at the venue got information about the hoodlums’ fomenting trouble and threatening people with dangerous weapons”.
Oyeyemi said the policemen succeeded in arresting one of the miscreants while others escaped. One locally made single barrel pistol and four live cartridges were recovered from the suspect.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Makama ordered a thorough investigation of the suspect with the view to get his fleeing accomplices arrested and face the full wrath of the law.
