Ekiti Commences Operation Fill All Potholes

As part of its efforts at making life better for Ekitio people, the state government has commenced the filling of potholes and reopening of drains across the state. Rehabilitation work commenced in the state capital as men and equipment were sighted around the Ajibade Lane Road in GRA, Ado Ekiti, which had been left unattended to in the last four years.

The Anchor Online's findings revealed that the rehabilitation work will go from Ajibade Lane down to Orita Blessing,Housing Road, Oke-ila. Checks have also revealed that the same gesture will be extended to all the bad roads in the state capital.
Back in January, Governor Kayode Fayemi had assured that work would start on all abandoned projects in the state. He also urged traditional rulers, chiefs and residents to monitor contractors and the progress of work. "Please supervise all our workers; go there and see what they are doing. If they don't do it well, tell us and we are going to take action", the Governor said then.
