BUSTED: How Detractors Circulated Fake Resignation Letter To Malign Ekere

The Anchor Online's investigation has revealed the existence of a fake resignation letter puportedly signed by the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Obong Nsima Ekere.
The forged letter
In the letter, which carries a forged signature of the former Managing Director, it was suggested that the Presidency should not appoint an Akwa Ibom indigene since the state's indigenes have served out a tenure of four years.
The authentic letter
Nothing like that was however mentioned in the authentic resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Anchor Online.
Efforts to reach Obong Ekere were unsuccessful as of the time of filing the report.
Ekere resigned his appointment as the MD of the NDDC in order to focus on his governorship campaign. He is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State.
