Prophet Olagunju Tackles Reporter Over Failed Prophecy Insinuation

The Presiding Bishop of the Divine Seed of God Chapel, Sasa, Ibadan, Prophet Wale Olagunju has taken a swipe at a journalist who allegedly portrayed one of his prophecies as a "failed prophecy".

In a rejoinder to an article written by Gbenga Adeniji of The Punch, Olagunju, whose prophecies enjoy wide followership both within and outside Nigeria stated that the Reporter "naively and parochially portrayed a divine inspiration in the mind of God for our nation as failed Prophecy".
Prophet Olagunju also wrote that "in the said write up, Gbenga Adeniji decided to play down on my numerous prophecies that came at the appointed time but chose to highlight,  make a bold caption and a rider on the page, my prophecy on a rift between the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Quoting from Gbenga Adeniji's words, "he (Wale Olagunju) however goofed in his prophecy that there would be a serious fight between Obasanjo and Buhari as revealed by God Almighty. As far as 2017 was concerned, there was no major fiight between the duo as prophesied by the Pastor. Beside, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, known to exhibit his grievances via letters, didn't publicly write any acerbic one to the president".
Stating his position, the Prophet said "I stand by the prophecy that God revealed to me, which as at the present appointed time, is being fulfilled. It is of public affirmation that there is a rift between the duo, following the acerbic letter written by ex-President Obasanjo to President Buhari. The fact of the matter is thus, the fulfillment of the prophecy".
The prophet also took time to explain that the time of fulfillment of any prophecy is in God's hands."Nobody has control on God's divine appointed time, which can be Now or in the Future", he stated.
