PDP suspends Buruji Kashamu!

The National Caretaker Committee of the People's Democratic Party, PDP has announced the suspension of Senator Buruji Kashamu, the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District.

Kashamu, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on States and Local Governments has been at the centre of a tussle for the control of the party, with legal tussles ensuing, especially as it affects the party's national convention.
The suspension was announced via the party's Twitter handle and it is to last for a month at the first instance.
Though no details have been provided for the Senator's suspension but activities deemed inimical to the progress of the PDP might not be ruled out.
