Another Fuji Musician's Son Goes The Hip Hop Way


Marwan Olayemi Adekunle, son of popular Ibadan based Fuji artiste, Rasheed Ayinde Merenge, Marwan Olayemi Adekunle's choice of career might not come as a surprise to many, especially those who know that an apple does not fall far from the tree. 
The genre of music he plays is what has been keeping tongues wagging and interestingly, his profile as a Hip- Hop artist is soaring everyday in the entertainment industry.

Unlike most musicians, Olayemi, a 200 level Business Administration student of the University of Ilorin, who is popularly known as Prince Famous obtained his parents' blessings before venturing into music. He never fails to attribute the success he has recorded so far to those blessings. 


He disclosed that his father, Merenge, facilitated his connection with King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and some other notable musicians.

While speaking on what actually motivated him into music, Prince Famous pointed out that his admiration for both Olamide and Wizkid prompted him to venture into music, particularly Hip Hop.

Olayemi, who has performed with the like of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Taye Adebisi Currency, Nice, Q’dot and other popular artists has dropped five singles among which are Feeling You, Finally Came Out and Omo Ibadan.

Olayemi is sure music will not affect his academics, as he noted that he has scheduled his programmes in such a way that one will not affect the other, and that his determination for success made him combine both academics and music because of his be belief that one will complement the other.
