Ibrahimovic set to undergo Man United medical

Manchester United have reportedly arranged for a medical to take place for Zlatan Ibrahimović once Sweden’s campaign at the European Championship comes to a close.
Ibrahimović’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired this month and The Independent understands lengthy talks have been held with United over a possible free transfer, but any move is likely to be delayed as the 34-year-old holds out for a £1m loyalty bonus from the Ligue 1 champions.
The former Barcelona and AC Milan forward has teased United supporters all summer as the likelihood of him being reunited with José Mourinho, a manager he worked with with at Internazionale, continues to increase with every passing week.
According to Sky Sports, Ibrahimović has agreed with United to complete a medical with the agreement of terms on a one-year contract unlikely to cause any further delays.
Negotiations between the player's representative Mino Raiola and United took longer than initially expected, in effect postponing the switch until after this summer's tournement in France.
Speaking ahead of Sweden’s 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland this week, Ibrahimović again noted the interest from United, but refused to elaborate on the talks or whether he has agreed to join the 20-times champions of England.
“For me, with Manchester [United], there is nothing to say. I feel happy for the moment,” he said.
“What the future will be, you will know soon. But I enjoy football. Wherever I go I will be the same person and I will enjoy.”
