Police Recover 3 Petrol-Laden Trucks From Vandals in Ogun

Police operatives attached to Ogijo Division of the Ogun State Command on Monday, recovered 3 trucks loaded with PMS suspected to have been siphoned illegally from NNPC pipeline by vandals at Agbowa area of Ogun State around 12.30 am.
The command's spokesman, DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi revealed that "the police operatives, who acted on a tip off, moved to the portion of the pipeline, where the suspected vandals fled the scene immediately they sighted the police, thus abandoning the three trucks.

The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ogijo Division, who led the operation, has personally  escorted the trucks to Abeokuta for safe keeping and proper investigation, as directed by the Commissioner of Police Ogun State, CP Abdulmajid Ali."
The Commissioner of Police has commended the Divisional Police Officer and his men for the successful operation that led to the recovery of the trucks, and warned that anyone who is  involved in such criminal  and deadly act in Ogun State will not be speared.
He has also assured the members of the public that the case will be thoroughly investigated and all the fleeing suspected vandals will be apprehended and be caused to face the full wrath of the law.
