Ever since he became Nigeria's Sports Minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung has maintained a distinguishing look; a military styled khaki French suit with a complementing red beret.
The Minister, who is fondly called by his traditional title, "Igbaman Otarok" ( Thunder of the Tarok
nation) has however taken to Twitter to explain his love for red berets which are usually associated with officers in Nigerian Army's Military Police Corps and members of the Pyrates Confraternity.
Dalung tweeted " . The red beret is signature of commitment to selflessness to the well-being of the masses and to me is like a religion of a sort". Since he aims "to promote and propagate the ideals of peaceful co-existence, social justice, religious harmony, ethnic tolerance,unity in diversity and love for One Nigeria", it is not difficult to understand where the Honourable Minister stands. .
