Police Arrest Herbalist for Keeping Arms & Making Charms for Robbers

. Nab another cultist in Sagamu 
The Special Anti Robbery Squad of  the Ogun State Police Command has arrested one herbalist for keeping arms and making charms for a group of suspected armed robbers who have been terrorizing people of Ogun State. 
The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi disclosed to The Anchor Online that "SARS operatives, who have been working on a tip off on the activities and involvement of the herbalist in many robbery operations, carried out a raid on the house of the herbalist on Friday 11th December and arrested the herbalist, Mr Musiliu Otun, at Itunranikenken area of Sagamu in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State, with some guns and ammunition and assorted charms". 

In another development, police operatives attached to Sagamu Division of the command on Sunday 13th of December, arrested one Kabiru Soyemi for robbery and cultism. 
Adejobi stated that the police operatives, who responded to a distress call from the victims attacked by the suspect, raced to the area and arrested the suspect with a locally made pistol while other members of his group fled.
"The two suspects arrested by SARS and Sagamu Division are helping the police in their investigation, and efforts are in top gear to arrest other fleeing members of the syndicates", Adejobi disclosed. 
The Commissioner of Police Ogun State, CP Abdulmajid Ali has commended the police operatives who carried out the operations that led to the arrest of the suspects for their gallantry.  He has also directed that proper investigation be carried on the cases as he affirmed that "the command will leave no stone unturned to promote adequate protection of lives and property in Ogun State".
