Confusion as Senate defers Amaechi's screening again!

The Senate on Tuesday gave Nigerians the satisfaction of concluding that legislators in the "Red Chamber" were confused as three different order papers surfaced regarding the screening of ministerial nominees. The Senate's order paper had to be altered twice.
Eight nominees including Barrister Adebayo Shittu and former Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi were scheduled to be screened. The first order paper read had the names of eight nominees.
After the first order paper had been read however, a second one surfaced with five names, those of Shittu and Amaechi conspicuously missing. In the same hour, another order paper was produced and this time, three nominees were slated to be screened.

Following the latest order paper, three nominees will be screened. They are Barrister Adebayo Shittu, the nominee from Oyo state,  Professor Claudius Omoyele Daramola, the nominee from Ondo State and Khadija Abba Ibrahim, from Yobe State.
Though the postponement of the screening of the former Rivers State Governor might not be unconnected with the report of the committee that looked into the allegations leveled against him, findings have revealed that the Code of Conduct Tribunal will be hearing the case against the Senate President on Wednesday.
It is believed in some quarters that the outcome of the Tribunal's case might have a direct effect on Amaechi's nomination.
