Nigerian Army Rescues 178 Boko Haram Captives

The Nigerian Army on Monday, announced the rescue of 178 people who had been held captive by the Boko Haram terrorist group. The rescue which was effected during the Operation Lafiya Dole campaign against the insurgents saw a total of 101 children, 67 women and 10 men regaining their freedom from the terrorists.

The Nigerian Army Headquarters also announced via its Twitter handle that its men have successfully cleared Boko Haram camps in Fadan, Shuwarin, Wulari, Ngoro Dauye, Jidori, Alikashiri and 5 other villages in Borno State.
The Amy has continued its onslaught aimed at flushing out the insurgents just as President Buhari assured recently that Nigeria will soon subdue Boko Haram.
