Abike Dabiri Reacts To Alleged Bank Debt, Says "I Owe No One"

The "name them, shame them" move embarked upon by banks to openly identify and embarrass alleged delinquent debtors has started generating reactions. Former Member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, whose name appeared on a list published by Punch Newspaper expressed shock on Tuesday morning as she declared that she owes no one. It was contained in part in the report of the Punch that "Diamond Bank Plc has N47.17bn as its total NPLs, with companies belonging to prominent Nigerians owing sizeable amounts.

These include Sir Emeka Offor’s Global ScanSystem Limited, which the bank says owes N181m; a former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on the Diaspora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s Thriller Eneavours, which owes N122m; and a former Delta State Commissioner for Sports Solomon Ogba’s Delta Mega Trend Limited, which owes N89m".
Dabiri-Erewa expressed angst via her Twitter handle as she posted "Shocked to see my pic in Punch .Said to owe 100m linked to some co.I OWE no one, not even myself ?Haba!Punch
 Must be mistaken identity.Also writing Diamond bank and CBN to set the records straight .Definitely NOT ME.!!
 Never even heard the name of the co! Will get to the bottom of this!
 As to detractors, you can't get me Will remain my calm, honest self ,Shame on you".
