Born12 years ago, Elizabeth Ayomide-Babalola, a talented Child Gospel singer operates under the stage name Lizzy. She is an instrumentalist and a dexterous Gospel singer. She started singing at 5, and at age 6 she produced an educative video CD and another Gospel CD at 8 yrs. Her stage performances and her musical prowess has endeared her to many concerts' organisers within and outside Nigeria.

Lizzy was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Ayomide-Babalola on June 3rd, 2003. Her potentials in music showed at a very tender age and when her parents discovered this talent, they did not discourage her. She started singing at the age of 5 and at age 6, she produced an educative video CD titled LIZZY’S NURSERY RHYMES. The debut album which was released 2010 is still the delight of many homes and schools.

After she has imparted various homes and schools through edu-tainment via her music, she and her band moved on to the level of positively impacting the young and old in the house of God through Gospel Music with a proficiency in Praise and Worship. It was thus not surprising that she went into the studio as an 8 year-old and produced another wonderful Gospel CD –Victory dance which was released on November 11, 2012., and the video followed in February 2014.

Lizzy has a 16 member band known has the Galactic Praise Team consisting of back up singers and various instrumentalists. She goes for ministrations and performances with her band members who are all adults and professional musicians.

She has performed at over 350 concerts, churches and events both within and outside They include the presentation of a paper after which she performed some of her educative rhymes at the Osun Education Summit in 2011 – an international program held at the Osun State University under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof. Wole Soyinka. It Is worthy of note that at that particular program, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his cabinet members were all in attendance.

Lizzy has also produced promotional jingles for some radio stations which are still in use daily at the stations while she has also ministered at a lot of events, churches, concerts and crusades in Abuja, Benin, Ibadan, Lagos, Port Harcourt including Winners Chapel, RCCG Churches, Baptist Churches, Celestial Church of Christ churches among others.

Lizzy has also had the opportunity of ministering on the same stage with notable Gospel musicians like Esther Igbekele, Bukola Sewenle Jesu, Adegbodu Twins, MEGA 99, and other  world acclaimed musicians including Yinka Ayefele and Evangelist Bola Are.

At the invitation of Chief Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation Magazine, she performed at the Ovation Red Carols held on December 22nd 2012 alongside various artists.

Between August 6th and 28th, 2014, Lizzy was in London for a musical tour. A lot of people in London and Manchester were really blessed by her ministrations. This led to her invitation back to London between September 25 to 28, 2014 for another ministration.

London Praises, her audio CD is a compendium of her live performances on her 2014 UK tour. It consists of 3 tracks- Worship, London Praises and Appreciation. This CD is expected to hit the stands in a few weeks time.

She has disclosed that she doesn’t see music as a special assignment and since she really enjoys it, it does not affect her studies. She does her assignments on time and most of her musical engagements are during the holidays or at weekends. Her parents who are also educationists, also ensure that the music aspect doesn’t affect her academics and this is evident in her academic results.

Her style of music is not surprising, especially to those who know her closely, Lizzy has always been a God-fearing girl and has been praising God from a tender age.
