Fayose Flooors Fayemi Again!

. Supreme Court Dismisses Petition Against Fayose's Election
The Ekiti State Governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose, on Tuesday consolidated his party's victory in the  election that returned him as the governor as the Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed against his election.
Fayose had defeated the immediate past Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi in all the 16 Local Government Areas in the state.

The All Progressives Congress approached the Election Petitions Tribunal which in its ruling of December 19, 2014 dismissed the APC's application for lacking in merit. The tribunal thereafter upheld Fayose's election as Governor.
The APC expressed its dissatisfaction at the tribunal's verdict and therefore approached the Court of Appeal. On February 16, 2015, Fayose's victory was affirmed by the 5-member panel chaired by Justice Abdul Aboki.
Having won all legal battles, the Governor still has the impeachment threat to face as lawmakers elected on the platform of the APC have asked the Chief Justice of the state to constitute a panel to investigate the impeachable offences leveled against the governor.
