PDP Chairman Accuses Electricity Companies of Sabotaging Govt’s Achievements!

The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Ahmad Adamu Mu’azu, on Monday accused the electricity distribution companies in the South West of trying to sabotage supply of electricity in the zone, in order to embarrass the Federal Government.
On his Twitter handle, the Chairman posted “Concerned Nigerians have drawn our attention to the fact that some opposition leaders & vested interest are behind hoarding of fuel, etc.”
He also tweeted “Concerned Nigerians also draw our attention to plans by those who control the South-West Disco to sabotage electricity in the zone.

We assure Nigerians, they will fail. All their plans to tarnish the image of government will fail like all other previous attempts.
We want to assure concerned Nigerians especially all of you here on social media that we will reverse this trend soonest.
Thank you for drawing our attention to this issue swiftly”.
Power supply has been very irregular in most places in the South West. In Ibadan, most areas cannot boast of enjoying up to 6 hours of electricity per day. One of The Anchor Online’s correspondents in Ibadan was at the Ring Road office of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company noticed that there was a power generating set beside the cashier’s office which was usually put to use anytime power goes off.
