Security Operatives Storm APC Presidential Campaign Spokesman's Home

Members of the All Progressives Congress have alleged that the residence of the Director of Media of its Presidential Campaign Organization, Mallam Garba Shehu, was surrounded on Thursday by a combined team security operatives.
The Anchor Online was informed that armed security operatives took positions around the house located at area 11, Garki Abuja, as early as 5:35am on Thursday morning.

In a statement signed on Thursday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, it was disclosed that “going after the spokesman of our party’s Presidential Campaign Organization is aimed at muffling the organization’s voice and abridging the constitutionally guaranteed rights of the spokesman himself. This is antithetic to democracy and totally unacceptable”.

Earlier in the week, armed soldiers were noticed around the residence of the leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Mallam Garba could not be reached for comments as of the time of filing this report.
