Jailbreak in Calabar as Gunmen Invade Prison!

Reports reaching The Anchor Online indicate that there was a jailbreak in the Afokang Prison facility in Calabar, Cross River State.
Residents around the area disclosed that sporadic shooting was heard around 11 am on Friday
and a yet to be ascertained number of inmates were reportedly freed by the invaders.
It could not be confirmed if there were casualties as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, security operatives have been drafted to the area to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
