Fire Destroys Ebonyi House of Assembly!

The Ebonyi State House of Assembly complex was on Tuesday destroyed by a fire suspected to have been set up by arsonists.
The Anchor Online gathered that the fire started from the Accounts Department and later spread to the Media Section of the Assembly complex.


Sensitive legislative documents are believed to have been consumed by the fire. Incidentally, the Ebonyi State Accountant General was to commence an external forensic auditing exercise just before the incident occurred on Tuesday.
Policemen with Amoured Personnel Carriers were seen at the gate of the Assembly complex on Tuesday morning, meanwhile, people, including journalists were denied entry into the complex as of the time of filing the report.
