Akpabio, Imoke, Yuguda in Closed-Door Meeting with Obasanjo!

As the All Progressives Congress gets ready to elect its presidential flag bearer on Saturday, some governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, on Thursday, held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta.
The governors who were in Abeokuta include Governors Isa Yuguda, Liyel Imoke and Godswill Akpabio of Bauchi, Cross River and Akwa Ibom States respectively. Akpabio also doubles as the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum.

Though  the details of the discussion held remained unknown as of the time of filing this report, The Anchor gathered that it might be yet another move to make Chief Obasanjo see reasons he should support the PDP in the general elections.
The Hilltop Mansion has become a Mecca of sort for politicians, including leaders of the APC who seem to have suddenly found favour with the former President.
