Ogun PPRO Bags NUJ's "Most Media Friendly" Award

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command,DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi,has been honored with the prestigious Most Friendly Media Award 2014 by the Nigeria Union of Journalists Ogun State Council.

The award ceremony was part of events lined up at the dinner and award nite of the councils 2014 week held between 16th and 22nd November at Daktad Events Hall,Quarry Road,Abeokuta on Friday

The NUJ Chairman Ogun State Council,Comrade Wole Sokunbi,assisted by other prominent elders of the council presented the award to Muyiwa Adejobi at the ceremony which was witnessed by very important personalities including the wife of the Governor of Ogun State Mrs Olufunso Amosun, top government functionaries,NUJ National Executives,NUJ state chairmen and heads of security agencies in the state.

The chairman of the council described Muyiwa Adejobi has a friend of the council in all ramifications both on official and personal capacities which encouraged the council to bestow the honour on him; and was done without any prejudice with a view to encouraging other Public Relations practitioners,particularly PROs of other security agencies,to emulate what Adejobi symbolizes in the world of Public Relations.

He then reiterated the councils support to the police command in Ogun State towards a more secured state and forth coming general elections in Ogun State.
