Nigerian Army Recaptures 3 Adamawa Towns

Nigeria's Defence Headquarters on Wednesday disclosed that three of the towns taken over by Boko Haram terrorists in Adamawa State have been recaptured. The news of the recapture of Hung, Gombi and Pelia appeared on the official twitter handle of the Defence Headquarters.


The tweet read: ‘’Our Troops are in full control of Gombi, Pelia and Hong as operations to clear all areas infested by terrorists continue. Many terrorists are being captured as some die. Weapons and Equipment are also being recovered. Mopping up Ongoing in the area even now.’
The Anchor had earlier gathered that no fewer than 10 soldiers lost their lives in one of the recent battles in the area while the terrorists fell in large numbers.
