Female Bombers Strike Busy Market in Maiduguri!

Two female suicide bombers believed to be members of the Boko Haram terrorist organization blew themselves up at the ever busy Monday Market in Maiduguri on Tuesday morning. The explosions that occurred around 11.00 hrs killed a number of people, including traders at the market and some customers.

The attack came barely a week after the recapture of three Borno towns that had earlier fallen to the Boko Haram terrorists. 

The extension of the state of emergency imposed on Yobe, Borno and Adamawa States is still being debated by the Senate as the House of Representatives rejected the extension days ago.
