"Our attention has been drawn to Facebook Accounts opened in the name of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, in which job seekers are being asked to pay CASH to get jobs.

Obviously, these fraudsters are trying to capitalise on the provision of Federal jobs for Ekiti youths, which Governor Fayose is pursuing vigorously, and has already secured employments for over 50 Ekiti youths.

Three of the beneficiaries are to get there employment letters tomorrow.

Therefore, it has become imperative that we once again alert Nigerians on the activities of these fraudsters who have opened several Facebook Accounts in the name of Governor Ayodele Fayose to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

We have reported the fake accounts to Facebook owners and we wish to state once again that Governor Fayose does not operate any Facebook account.

Also, Governor Fayose is not asking to pay for government jobs and contracts.

In the event of anyone claiming on Facebook that he is Governor Fayose, kindly call me (Lere Olayinka) on 08034671763.

Dont be defrauded. Beware!"
