PDP Adopts Jonathan as Presidential Candidate!

Less than 24 hours after it came up with the time table for the party's shadow elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as its candidate for the February 24, 2015 election. 
All the governors of the PDP unanimously declared Presiden
t Goodluck Jonathan as the sole presidential candidate of the party in the general elections. The Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu who addressed the National Executive Committee of the party on behalf of all the governors elected on the PDP platform also assured that the PDP will win back its mandate lost in Rivers, Kano, Sokoto, and Kwara States as a result of the defection.
The motion was unanimously adopted by NEC.
