Oyo Defers Schools' Resumption Till October 6

Primary and secondary schools in Oyo State have been directed to resume for the 2014/2015 academic session on October 6.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Olalekan Alli who stated that the government has
made adequate preparations for the resumption of schools. It was also stated that the directive affects both public and private schools.
The Federal Government had earlier directed that schools across the country should resume on October 13, only to change it to September 22, weeks after.
Oyo seems to be the only state that has so far concluded on a different date as Lagos has agreed with the Federal Government's directive.
