NUT Orders Teachers to Shun Govt's Sept 22 Resumption Date

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT has directed all members of the union not to resume school on September 22nd as directed by the federal government.
The umbrella body of all teachers in the country said that its members must be well equipped before they will resume
in case of any possible outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease.
There were reports on Monday that the union was scheduled to meet with members of the House of Representatives and the Minister for Education to resolve the issue.
It was however found out that the NUT was not represented at the meeting. A representative og the union said "we were not invited and we will take our fate in our hands".
