Deola Layade Takes Baking To The Next Level

. Hosts Bread Exhibition in Ibadan
Ibadan's celebrated baker and confectioner, Adeola Layade is at it again. The Ife princess who graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Ado Ekiti has succeeded in changing the face of the baking business in Ibadan. Within a few years, her outfit has metamorphosed from Exquisito Cakes, a small baking outfit which started as a result of her passion for baking into Exquisito Confectioneries, which has become
a recognized brand.Quite a number of professional bakers have passed through her.

She channeled a new course last year when she hosted the first Bread Exhibition in Oyo State and the South West. The exhibition is already an annual event with its second edition tagged "The Bread Connoisseurs" slated for October 1, 2014 at the Pentonrise Events Centre in Bodija, Ibadan.
Apart from showcasing different types of bread from parts the world, the event will afford bakers an opportunity to showcase their products to the world and also provide an avenue for bakers to meet and interact with their consumers.
Checks have revealed that "The Bread Connoisseurs" is far from being an all-bread affair as top rated entertainers will be in attendance to spice up the programme. Popular Gbenga Adeyinka The 1st will anchor the event which would also birth another vision of the Exquisito Confectioneries CEO, the launching of a bread magazine.
When asked what prompted the idea of a bread magazine, Ms Layade's response was ‘’the vision of having a bread magazine came about because of the gap in the industry that needed to be filled. Its to bridge the gap between the bread industry and consumers generally’’. She also pointed out that the magazine which would be distributed free across the country, will be unveiled by the wife of the Oyo State Governor, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi.
