The directive was issued by the Education Secretary of the FCT Administration, Malam Kabiru Usman while presenting Ebola prevention kits to principals and head teachers of schools in Abuja.
Usman said children who show such symptoms should be treated by their parents and certified to be malaria-free. That, according to Usman would be the criterion for admitting them into schools.
Hand sanitizers, disinfectants and hand gloves as well as posters on the use of the items were distributed.
