Boko Haram Kidnaps 50 Women in Adamawa, Conscripts Young Men

Reports reaching The Anchor indicate that members of the Boko Haram terrorist group on Saturday kidnapped no fewer than 50 women in Gulak, Adamawa State as they assembled on a preaching ground. The Anchor gathered that the women were loaded on to waiting vans and driven away.

One of the residents of Husra, a village in Michika Local Government disclosed that the sect has resorted to conducting regular preaching sessions to attract new converts. He however added that the people only listened to them out of fear for their lives.
Residents also confirmed that when they asked if anybody wanted to join them and no one responded, they selected healthy-looking young men, especially those who were well built and they took them away.
It will be recalled that over 200 secondary school students in Chibok, Borno State were abducted by the terrorist group more than five months ago.
