Sarumi-Aliyu Preaches Peace, Patience, Calls For Greater Sacrifice at Eid-el Kabir

Mrs. Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu, the convener of the BASA Foundation has called on Muslims in Oyo State and the country at large to emulate Prophet Ibrahim, in terms of selfless love and sacrificial giving.

The one time governoship candidate gave the advice in her Sallah message which reads in part; "Prophet Ibrahim, in absolute obedience to the Almighty Allah, was ready to sacrifice his son".
She went on to urge Oyo State indigenes to use the lessons of Eid-el Kabir to draw closer to God and pray for peace in the state and Nigeria as a whole. She also appealed to the people to be patient as she assured that the Governor Seyi Makinde administration means well and will deliver on the promises made during the electioneering campaign.
"And as we pray for the state and our leaders, we need to support them to the best of our abilities. The task of making this state better is a collective one. And truth be told, it is only in an atmosphere of love, peace and harmony that we can make Oyo State great again", she stated.
