"My PA Was Never Shot"- Seyi Makinde

The Governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party in Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Sunday reacted to rumours that his Personal Assistant was shot dead earlier on Sunday.
He urged citizens to disregard the rumour as he stated via his Twitter handle that his PA "was never shot". 
Makinde, who sent the reaction via his twitter handle tweeted "It's been brought to my attention that a rumour is being peddled that my PA was shot dead today. Please disregard this unfounded rumour which is #FakeNews. My PA was never shot nor harmed at any point, he is well and alive. Thank you".
There had been rumours of violence following the murder of a House of Reps member, Hon. Tremitope Sugar Olatoye in Ibadan on Saturday. Those rumoured to have died included Engineer Makinde's PA, the wife of Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, a National Union of Road Transport Workers chieftain fondly called 'Auxilliary', Alhaja Adebisi, mother of Fuji musician, Taye Currency and Senator Teslim Folarin's wife, Angela.
