Ekiti Anthem Composer's Daughter Gets Support From Fayemi's Wife

Reprieve came the way of Miss Olaitan Esther Ologunde, daughter of Joshua Ola Ologunde, who composed the Ekiti Anthem as Erelu Bisi Fayemi, wife of the Governor of Ekiti State gave her full scholarship. 
Olaitan Ologunde, a 500 Level student of the Ekiti State University was on the verge of dropping out of the College of Medicine and Surgery due to financial difficulties. 

Olaitan lost both her parents within three months of each other. Her dad, who was honoured at the second edition of the Ekiti Merit Award in 2012 died on November 12, 2016. Her mother died on January 21, 2017. While she was battling with the trauma of becoming an orphan with no one to support her education, her medical school tuition was increased to N 400,000 with accreditation fee of N 100,000 making a total of N 500,000. 
A number of friends and well wishers rallied round her to raise her 2017 tuition. A fundraiser was initiated on the internet to help source for her 2018/2019 session. 
The Acting Vice-Chancellor of EKSU, Prof. Olubunmi Bolanle Ajayi, University Registrar, Barr. Akinwumi Olusola Arogundade and the University Bursar, Mr. Abimbola Titiloye Owolabi were present at the official presentation.
