Abuja based Estate Developer and Architect, Hassan Giwa, has condoled with family, friends and supporters of the slain House of Representatives member, Hon. Temitope Olatoye Sugar.
Hon. Olatoye Sugar was assassinated by yet to be identified persons on March 9 during the governorship and House of Assembly elections in Ibadan.
Architect Giwa, in a statement signed and made available to media men in Ibadan on Monday, described the incident as ungodly. He called on the government to fish out the killers and make them face the full wrath of the law. He also called on politicians to eschew bitterness and embrace peace as he stated that "no political ambition is worth anyone's blood".
The Lagelu Local Government born businessman cum politician prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased House of Representatives member, whom he said had the love of his people and Oyo State in general at heart.
Hon. Temitope Olatoye Sugar was Member of the House of Representatives, representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency prior to his assassination. Hon. Olatoye, who lost the Oyo Central senatorial election as the candidate of the Action Democratic Party, died at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
