Osinbajo Debunks Resignation Rumour, Says "I Remain Committed"

Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has debunked rumours of his resignation.
There had been rumours of the Vice President threatening to resign late on Wednesday. One of the reasons adduced was that he was not informed of a security meeting earlier in the week and when he reportedly heard about it, he was barred from entering the hall.

Those behind the rumour had posited that Professor Osinbajo was irked by the fact that some Governors were in the meeting while he was prevented from entering.

The Vice President debunked the rumour via his Twitter handle on Thursday as he tweeted "Misleading/FAKE news is on the rise especially in this season when Nigerians will make a choice about who will govern them for the next four years.

I have not resigned!

I remain committed to the service of the Nigerian people under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari".
