Taye Currency Defies Accident, Performs For Fayose

Famous Fuji Musician, Taiye Akande Adebisi, fondly referred to as "Taye Currency", on Friday survived an automobile accident.
The Anchor Online gathered that the musician's Hilux van somersaulted several times at Osu, on Ilesa Road around 10.30 am while he was travelling to Ado Ekiti to perform.

Though no life was lost in the accident, the vehicle was badly damaged. Currency too had to be treated at a private hospital in Ife where he had his head stitched.
Currency, who was billed to perform at the commissioning of the new bridge in Ado Ekiti proceeded to the venue after leaving the hospital. Surprisingly, he performed till the early hours of Saturday after which he returned to Ibadan.
Explaining why he decided to go on with the concert despite the accident, Currency said "Governor Fayose is the people's Governor and I admire him a lot. He always tells the truth".
