Meet DSP Shotayo, Ikeja Police College's New PRO

The Commandant of the Police College Ikeja, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu has appointed DSP Oluwaseyi Shotayo as the new Police Public Relations Officer, Police College Ikeja,Lagos State.


Shotayo's appointment, via signal no CH 5360/PCI/Vol 2, dated 20th of May, 2018, takes effect from Monday 21st May, 2018.

DSP Oluwaseyi Shotayo succeeds the former PPRO DSP Afolabi Saliu, who has been redeployed to the Lagos State Police Command.

Shotayo, who graduated from the Lagos State University with a Bachelor's degree in English Language, was appointed Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police into the Nigeria Police Force on 1st February, 2005.

Before his appointment, he was a directing staff of the Advance Training Wing of the Police College Ikeja. He was also a Unit Commander PMF 31, Asaba and 53 Bama Maiduguri respectively before he was posted to the Police College, Ikeja in January 2017.

With Shotayo's appointment, the Commandant of the Police College Ikeja, has a vision to reintegrate the college into the limelight of Public Relations and  effective policing in Nigeria and beyond.
