"It's too early to declare for 2019"- Dapo Lam-Adesina

Honourable Adedapo Lam Adesina has disclosed that it is too early to declare his ambition for the 2019 general elections.
The young lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives disclosed this in a recent interview on Orile Ede Wa Loni, aired on an Ibadan based television station, Galaxy TV.

Hon. Adesina noted that the 2019 general elections are still very far for anyone serious and responsible to be talking about. He added that 2018 has just begun with lots of activities to be carried out; hence he is not bothered about 2019 yet.
Adesina, fondly called "Omo Oloore", a member of various House of Reps Committees including Health, Sports and Agriculture, reiterated that what is important to him is to use every position to benefit the people of his constituency and the state in general.
The former Commissioner for Sports in Oyo State revealed that it was in 2011 that he struggled for position, but didn’t materialize. He said that it was people that appealed to him to contest the 2015 general elections, and he thanked the Almighty God that it was a success.
He opined that what helped him during his time as Commissioner was that he used the opportunity to reach out to people and made sure that the dividends of democracy were extended to them.
He mentioned delay in the issuance of driver's license by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), renovation of the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan, renovation of National Museum, Ibadan and rehabilitation of Ibadan/Ife road as well as the issue of electricity and estimated billing among others as parts of motions and bills he has so far sponsored.
The son of former Governor Lam Adesina said that he touched lives of many people through his various constituency outreach programmes including the empowerment of over 600 market men and women, youth empowerment with over N 50 million, distribution of writing materials to 5000 students across the constituency, employment of 40 youths with salaries being paid as at when due and provision of 25 water projects and transformers just to mention a few.
While responding to the security and environmental situations in Oyo State, Hon. Adesina commended the State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi for his efforts in ensuring that lives and properties of the people are well secured.
The vibrant lawmaker advised the President Buhari led government to support the state financially to boost her agriculture sector. He pointed out that the step will go a long way in solving issue of unemployment and food scarcity, as the state is blessed with arable land to provide food for the nation. He also disclosed that it has been concluded that Oyo State has the most sought after cassava around.
