Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Sunday took a swipe at Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Minister of State who recently dumped the People's Democratic Part for the All Progressives' Congress, stressing that "Koro has lost dignity and honour". Fani-Kayode stated this on Twitter and had also tweeted that he will be praying for the former Minister's deliverance.
The Lagos-born Senator recently announced his intention to cross from the PDP.
Obanikoro's move contrasts with that of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who resigned his membership of the APC on Friday.
"My brother Koro is now
carrying the broom and flying with the other @APCNigeria witches.I shall pray for his deliverance. When a man loses
his courage, self-respect, dignity and honor and is compelled to grovel, bow
and beg before his accusers it is self-depreciating and pitiful",
Fani-Kayode tweeted.
Before his defection, Obanikoro had been linked with issues including the funds over which former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki is facing charges as well as the Ekiti governorship election scandal. The Lagos-born Senator recently announced his intention to cross from the PDP.
