Police Arrest "Medical Director" For Operating Illegal Clinic & Maternity Home

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Julius Adeolu Afolabi for operating an illegal clinic and maternity home in Abule-Iroko area of Ota.

According to ASP Abimola Oyeyemi, "Afolabi's trouble started when he collected the sum of N 200,000 from one Funmi Adelaja to treat her of fibroid and he was unable to remove the fibroid. This prompted the said Funmi Adelaja to report the case at Sango Police Station".

Oyeemi confirmed that "the DPO detailed detectives to investigate the case and it was discovered that the self acclaimed Doctor and Medical Director of Adeolu Afolabi Clinic and Maternity Home has never gone through any formal training that can qualify him to operate such outfit".  

 The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State, CP Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered a full investigation into the case with the view of charging the culprit to court on conclusion of the investigation.
