The Command's spokesman, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi disclosed that "the victim was hawking sliced pawpaw along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway when the duo lured her into Yusuf Ezekiel's apartment under the pretence that they wanted to buy pawpaw from her and forcefully carnal knowledge of the lady. It was while she was shouting that the people around came to her rescue and subsequently reported to the Police".
He went on that "the DPO Ojodu Abiodun, SP Bamidele Job quickly dispatched detectives to the scene and two suspects were promptly arrested".
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu has directed that the case be transferred to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
