The Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has approved the immediate removal of Ebenezer Olubena, commissioner IV in the state's civil service commission.
Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, made this known on Wednesday as he disclosed via a statement that Olubena was removed over acts bordering on “misconduct”.
The affected commissioner was directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the permanent secretary at the commission.
A part of the statement read “consequent upon this, Mr Olubena is hereby directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the permanent secretary at the commission immediately."
