The Anchor Online's findings revealed that the casus belli was the sharing of "juicy committees" and before anyone knew what was happening, Honourables Herman Hembe and Aliyu Sani Madaki, of Konsh of Shnvandeikiya Federal Constituency in Benue State and Dala Federal Constituency of Kano State respectively had exchanged slaps.

Before it however degenerated into a big time brawl, Hon Lasun separated them.
The chairmanship of House Committees has been a cause of bad blood among Reps. Incidentally, Hon Hembe was named as the chairman of the Committee on the Federal Capital Territory.
