South African Boxer Dies After Being Knocked Out!

A South African boxer has died after being knocked out in the first round of a bout.
Mzwanele Kompolo died in hospital in the town of Frere in the Eastern Cape province, Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula said.
Kompolo was boxing against Siphenathi Qampi when he was knocked out.

Mr Mbalula described him an "up and coming" boxer, and said he was saddened by his death.
He has been tweeting on what exactly happened.
"The boxer experienced his knockout TKO punch during the first round and upon his collapse started to experience complications. Under the watchful eye of the ringside doctor, he was immediately treated on the spot. He was therefore transferred to Butterworth and later transferred to Frere Hospital where he was comatose until his passing", he tweeted.
