The Ogun State Police PRO, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, on Thursday lectured over 600
course participants on the Corporal to Sergeant promotion course at the Police
Training School, Iperu on Thursday.
The lecture, which lasted for almost two hours, was titled “Public Relations and Effective Policing in Nigeria” and it focused on Public Relations issues and modern policing strategies that can boost the ongoing reform in the police.
The PPRO urged the participants to embrace the IGPs policies and styles of policing the country with dignity, respect for human feelings and reputation.

He warned the personnel to desist from
corruption and other inappropriate conducts that can damage the image of the
Force. He also encouraged them to share their problems with their senior
officers who are in the best position to assist them accordingly to avoid being
depressed.
