Woman in Police Net For Pouring Hot Water on Ex-Lover's Brother
In what seems to be an offshoot of a love affair that turned sour, a woman is cooling her heels with the police for causing harm to two people. At about 6:15am on August 8, 2015, police received a report that one Josephine Ariwo, of Agbege area Owutu, Ikorodu allegedly poured hot water on two
persons (one male and a female) all of same address. Police operatives
rushed to the scene, the victims who sustained severe burns were rushed
to Ikorodu General Hospital for treatment.
The attacker has been
arrested and taken into custody, one of the victims is discovered to be
the brother of a man living in Counting Estate, Agege whom the attacker
claimed jilted her. State CID Panti-Yaba is investigating.
