NFF Unveils Sunday Oliseh As Super Eagles' Coach

Former Captain of the national team, Sunday Oliseh, was on Wednesday unveiled as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles. Oliseh replaces yet another captain and his former teammate, Stephen Keshi who was given the boot about a fortnight ago. Keshi's undoing was that he allegedly applied to coach the Elephants of Cote d' Ivoire while having a subsisting contract with the Nigerian Football Federation.

Oliseh was unveiled and presented with the number 15 jersey with which he was known in his playing days.
The new coach, who has a three-year contract, promised to put in his best for his fatherland and to uplift the team. NFF President, Amaju Pinnick described him as the Pep Guardiola of Nigerian football and expressed optimism about the capability of the new coach to achieve success.
