Again, Robbers Raid Banks in Ikorodu!

A gang of daredevil armed robbers, on Wednesday morning raided at least two banks in Ikorodu, Lagos State, making away with a yet to be ascertained amount of money.
The Anchor Online gathered that the robbery attacks occurred at Ipakodo and Ogolonto areas of the town. It will be recalled that a similar attack took place about four weeks ago, in which the robbers took their time to
perpetrate their act after which they stayed back and danced wildly to loud music playing from one of the vehicles they brought. .
Eye witnesses disclosed that there was heavy shooting at Ebute, opposite the Police Station in Ipakodo, thus giving an indication that f the Rapid Response Squad rose to the challenge, though their efforts were not enough to stop the robbers from fleeing with their loot. First Bank and Zenith Bank reportedly came under attack from the gunmen, some of who made their escape using the waterways. .
An eyewitness confirmed seeing at least four unmasked men loading money into a Sienna van on the road as the robbery was going on in Ogolonto.
